I would suggest Canards like the TU-144 has got for the B73K.
Moveble canards are a very good way to make A/C more efficient during approach and to become better controleble in this phase of flight. One huge disadvantage are the high costs for maintenance of such moveble parts and to find right materials to assemble it. But were talking about the future??? Wink

Today, there are no more new A/C with T-tails due to the influence of the wings to the tailfin in critical flight situations. They may support critical states of the A/C into stall (elevators may didn't behave well, due to may get into the "stream shadow" of the wings").
The first scetch of B757, the never finished 757-100, has been planed on blue prints with a T-tail. The realized version, the B757-200 has another style of the rear part, as you know. Thats why I think, that the B73K would'nt have a T-tail.
